Scott Sigler makes publishing history after giving away all of his books in audio.

Scott Sigler is the greatest author and podcaster.

Scott Sigler was on National Public Radios Weekend Edition on March 30, 2008!

Scott Sigler on NPR

Scott Sigler is a horror/sci-fi author who I discovered in 2005 was giving away his Earthcore novel in podcast form. A 30 minute MP3 every week like clockwork. Earthcore was followed by Ancestor, The Rookie, Infected and Nocturnal. Earthcore and Ancestor have been published and Infected was released on April 1st 2008(no fooling!).

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Since Scott's novel Ancestor was published April first 2007 and reached #2 overall (for a brief moment, would have #1 if it weren't for some pesky kid with a wand) and #1 in sci-fi all without any advertising budget he now has grand delusions of taking over the world and thinks that he invented podcasting, the Internet, and the internal combustion engine. But, this insanity aside, his stories are the greatest to appear in the genre since Poe.

Nocturnal Free Audiobook

Nocturnal is Scotts newest work in progress and my favorite. The story takes place in present day San Francisco and involves SFPD detectives investigating a series of very unusual murders. The victims include mostly top gang members, very small fry high school gang members and a school principal. The weird thing is the strange symbols left near the victims and the elderly witness' description of two of the attackers.

Download all of Scott's audiobooks for free. There's his site link at the bottom of this page.

Scott begins each episode with "Nocturnal is a podcast only novel. You can't buy it in stores and you can't peek at the end. Written and performed by Scott Sigler. This book contains adult language, mature situations and lots and lots of violence. So, lock your kids in the closet...." and so on.

Contagious (Hardcover) - Alien invaders threaten humanity in Sigler's over-the-top thriller, the sequel to Infected.

In the near future, U.S. president John Gutierrez goes straight from his inauguration to crisis management when his national security team informs him that he must focus his attention on Project Tangram, a secret government program to stave off an epidemic caused by alien parasites, which form itchy blue triangular patches on the skin. Victims eventually become paranoid and violent.

Contagious
Contagious
This is the sequel to Scott's book Infected. This book starts maybe a month or three after the first. This book can stand alone but I would recommend buying and reading the first one if you haven't read it yet. Infected is available in paperback. The first few chapters are very intense. There is no warming up phase. Scott does a lot of research on all of his books and so the science behind the gore is explained in the book a la Michael Crichton. If you want some adult horror with some adult violence buy and read Contagious.

INFECTED horror novel, author Scott Sigler On YouTube vids

Horror author Scott Sigler talks about his new novel INFECTED, which hits bookstores on April 1, 2008. There is no makeup, he really is that pale. Buy his book already, so maybe he can afford a vacation where there is some sunshine.

Do you agree that Scott Sigler is the worlds greatest horror sci-fi author? - Let's have your opinion here, but keep it G rated.

Infected: A Novel (Hardcover) - "Part Stephen King, part Chuck Palahniuk, Infected blends science fiction and horror into a pulpy masterpiece of action, terror,

Infected is the first major print release from Internet phenom Scott Sigler, whose podcast-only audiobooks have drawn an immense cult following, with more than three million individual episodes downloaded. Now Sigler storms the bookstore shelves with this cinematic, relentlessly paced novel that mixes and matches genres, combining horror, technothriller, and suspense in a heady mix that is equal parts Chuck Palahniuk, Michael Crichton, and Stephen King.

Infected will crawl beneath your skin and leave fresh blood on every page.

Infected: A Novel
Infected: A Novel
"Horror mavens rejoice! Infected is a revelation -- a novel that lives up to its hype. From page one, the story of a mysterious smart-virus that turns its hosts into deadly drooling drones creeps up on a reader like the ratchet of a roller coaster climbing toward its inevitable crest. Sigler brings the folksy character detail of Stephen King, the conceptual panache of Clive Barker, and the oozing, shuddery pathologies of a David Cronenberg movie. Zombies, spies, conspiracies, and gallons of goo make this the fastest read in the west! Highest recommendation!" — Jay Bonansinga, national bestselling author of Shattered, Twisted, Frozen, and The Sinking of the Eastland

Ancestor (Paperback) - "Ancestor starts with a literal bang and builds to a desperate climax that will keep you guessing." --David Wellington, author of Monster

"ANCESTOR is a cautionary thriller along the lines of Frankenstein warning readers that science without moral considerations is dangerous to all mankind."

Harriet Klausner, Amazon.com's #1 reviewer

Ancestor
Ancestor
Did you consider Dolly the cloned sheep an unholy abomination? Did you cheer the ban on stem cell research? Are you offended by the concept of something called "The God Machine?" Then this novel isn't for you. It will smash your fragile technophobic psyche and grind the pieces under its spiked boot heel. But for the rest of us who can handle Scott Sigler's warped, bloody, genetically engineered horror ride, suspense is the ticket and the safety rails are non-existent.

Earthcore: - Scott Sigler's First Published Novel

EarthCore is more exciting than a thriller has any right to be! --Lincoln Child, New York Times Bestselling Author

Earthcore
Earthcore
This fast-paced horror-science fiction romp is an exciting and non-stop action story. I enjoy such things, trying to create something of the same mood in Season of the Plant, although I come nowhere near the skill of this author. I have a background in geology, have gone into unexplored caves, and can relate to the excitement and mystery which surround plumbing the depths of our planet. What these explorers discover, however, is a wonderfully amazing and horrifying one. Well described, action to the last page, with primary characters unfortunately flawed (especially the protagonists) which make the book really worthwhile in the long run. As in Ancestor, which I read prior to this work, the author creates a villain who epitomizes all the qualities which create endless concern for others to the very end.
